本館將於二零一三年五月廿六日(星期日)進行主電掣房檢查，暫停供應全館電力，休館一天。

Temporary Closure of Library

Due to the annual overhaul of L.V. Main Switchboard, the electricity supply to the Chien Mu Library will be suspended on May 26, 2013 (Sunday). The Library will be closed on that day.

*重要事項﹕

本館延長開放期間（星期一至五晚上十時至翌日凌晨二時；星期六晚上七時至翌日凌晨二時；星期日上午九時至下午一時及晚上七時至翌日凌晨二時） 將作出以下安排﹕

1. 所有櫃檯服務暫停，包括流通服務、指定參考書服務、參考諮詢服務及小組研討室服務等等。
2. 讀者可使用設於本館地下大堂的自助借書機借出書籍。 歸還書籍可投放於本館入口旁的還書箱。
3. 其他服務及設施 (如夜讀室、網上打印、影印、電腦設施及泊車優惠自助核証系統)則如常提供讀者使用。

本館將於二零一三年五月二十三日起回復正常開放時間，有關圖書館正常開放時間，請參考開放時間 及 假期開放時間 。 查詢請致電3943-7655 或電郵至 nacir@lib.cuhk.edu.hk。

*Important note:

The following arrangements will be implemented during the extended opening hours (i.e. Monday to Friday 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.; Saturday 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.; Sunday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.  and 7 p.m. – 2 a.m.) :

1. No counter service (e.g. circulation service, reserve book service, reference service, group study room service and etc.) will be available since there will be no library staff except two security guards.

2. Users may use self check-out machine on the G/F and book drop besides the library entrance for borrowing and re turning books.

3. Other services and facilities including late reading room, network printing, photocopying, computer facilities and alumni free parking system are still available.

夜讀室考試期間二十四小時開放

自二零一三年四月十五日晚上九時卅分起至五月二十三日上午九時正，本館底層之夜讀室 (位置) 將於此考試期間每日二十四小時開放。大學保安組將於晚間不時派員前來視察，以確保使用者之安全及夜讀室之良好秩序。



Late Reading Room open 24 hours during examination period

From 9:30 p.m., April 15, 2013 to 9:00 a.m., May 23, 2013, New Asia College Ch’ien Mu Library will open its Late Reading Room (location) on the lower ground floor of the Library building 24 hours daily during the examination period.During this period, the University Security Unit will have officers patrolling the area at night to ensure the safety of the users and the good order of the Room.
