Artist Statement:
"&" indicates somewhere in between. We use "&" to symbolize how love evades any simple definition, as well as its nature of connection. Through love individuals are bonded together. During the process they are impacted by both sweetness and bitterness, and transform into another being they would never thought of. In this exhibition, 4 artists present how they are affected by different experiences in relationships, and how these art pieces represent their notion of love.
「&」代表著事物之間的可能。我們使用了「&」這個符號，去詮釋愛情不能夠被輕易地歸類，亦同時解釋其作為連接的本質。透過愛情，不同的個體得以聯繫起來。他們經歷快樂與痛楚，亦經由這些經歷，轉化成從未想像過的個體。在這次展覽，四位藝術家展現出他們進入不同關係的經驗，並透過創作去表現他們如何看待愛情。
